Airspace
Ian Miller and Kris Ericksen meet with the controllers at Wellington Tower to discuss airspace around Wellington Airport.  It looks like will be able to enter into an MOU to allow controlled access to Baring Head and Red Rocks / Long Gully.  We will, however, have to wait until early/mid July to get this sorted....  In the meantime please don't call the Tower to access the airport zone other than for Macalistair Park!!  Info about airspace...

Macalistair Park
If you are doing any practice flights at Macalistair Park the control tower needs to be phoned beforehand on  04-387 1980 (extension 7), and again after flying is completed.  NO  altitude gain above launch height is permitted!  The area is close to  the hospital, which has helicopters flying emergency cases in...  Flights are NOT to occur if organised sports games are occurring on the ground!  Site requires a light southerly wind.  Map: http://goo.gl/maps/774o

Kinnoull
Kris Ericksen is in the process of obtaining a key for Kinnoull Station.  We should have this by mid-June!
